When we look at an image we project our experiences and memories, and that is how we contribute to the construction of its meaning. This evocative capacity of the photographic image gives rise to this visual installation.

De pedra presents a story based on images from the artists’ archive, which mutates with the presence of each visitor. Its device and architecture generate a poetic effect that allows us to experience the process of constructing memory and physically intervene in the projected content, highlighting the active role of the observer not only in the perception and interpretation of the image, but in its creation.
