Yasmín is a photograph whose composition and meaning I find moving.
The composition is largely geometric; it has angles, yet at the same time it is full of circular movement, and the character’s veil ends in a final swirl.
The clothing’s colours and the significance the woman gives to new generations, within the framework of religions, makes me want to continue exploring this subject.
On my travels I try to take pictures that fully reflect a place’s meaning: it’s a living portrait; while the buildings also open the gateway to other worlds.
