When he was little he dreamed of travelling the world and publishing his photos in National Geographic. When he was 16, fate placed in his hands a Canon Tlb and a book by Kodak called "How to Make Good Pictures", which he began to read a dozen times, but never got beyond the first chapter.
A scholarship to study documentary photography at the Coupeville Art Center in Washington was the ticket to a 22-year adventure travelling around this world we live in. What he most likes about his work is observing movement. Twelve years ago he became Canon’s first ambassador in Mexico, and since 2008 he has been taking photos for National Geographic.
He has been the official photographer for the Marlboro Adventure Team, a member of Red Bull’s international team of photographers, and the official photographer for the Dubai Tennis Championship.
