Fotosport began in 1970. That is a lot of years, a lot of editions; and in this time our event has evolved with the times. We have gained experience and also public recognition.

Despite this evolution, the founding principle of Fotosport remains alive and unchanged. This is nothing less than making the idea behind the Fotosport acronym into a reality: being able to see sport through the photographic artist's lens.

Because it's thanks to them that Fotosport has kept its date every two years. Without this ever-vigilant vision of the photographers who show us the most varied faces of sport, we could not keep our original - though updated - project going.
