Among Trees is the second series of photographs by Olya D. Plants, animals, vegetables, elementary beings, humans… share time and space beyond their own scale.
Relations are based on the senses and spontaneity, where external worlds are explored in depth and the universal flow of life is made present. Everything turns into one, and one forms part of the whole.
These images show the dialogue between creatures raised in the forest that surrounds them. With a nomad’s tent as their only refuge, they spend their days in a genuine fusion with nature, not as visitors but as an integral part of the ecosystem itself, in which the life cycles of all the sentient beings simply follow their course.
