Tipping Lines

Based on the observation of the dichotomy between the apparent calmness above contrasted with the constant movement below,

“Tipping Lines” have the aim of revealing a multiple vision of the sea around two lines of the horizon connecting the sky, the surface of the sea and the underwater kingdom.

Horizon is understood as the line between the air and the water.

Lines, contours and textures shaping a somewhat unreal marine landscape that surprises the onlooker for its lack of resolution, intended to suggest the possibility of feelings rather than the observation of an object, within an intermediate space between figurative language and abstraction. Feelings open to interpretation arising from only three elements: water, light and air.

The installation "Pliegos sin fin" (Folds without end), consisting of “real” light, water and air, completes the experience in the most immersive, physical and immediate way.
