ART ADRIFT: FOUR PERSPECTIVES ON THE LANDSCAPE
Ifec Foto

Fluctuating between the theory of landscape and the anthropology of travel, the course El arte de la deriva [Art adrift] has prompted a series of projects of a differing nature:

In La Riera [The Stream], Ramon Batalla captures Rubí as a watercourse that has been both ravaged by industry and ignored by its city.

In Cubil, Sergi Batlle follows a journey on two levels – geological and human – in a region where time appears to have come to a standstill.

In Reminiscencias, Karen Pullich reopens the doors to the island in Seville - Isla de la Cartuja - as an area hovering between decadence, neglect and reinvention.

In Cum grano salis [With a grain of salt], Toni Jerez takes us on a trip through the history of mathematics, A ballad in three voices: landscape, abstraction and poetics.

Curator: Roger Grasas, teacher on the course held at the IEFC in 2021.
