The Vall d’Hebron Campus Science Photography Competition has now been held for more than 10 years. On a yearly basis, this institution’s research staff disclose the results of their investigations from a different perspective, through images of great aesthetic value.
The selected photographs constitute an artistic narrative of what the scientists see, experiment and investigate in their everyday work, either with their own eyes or through a microscope.
The always inquisitive approach taken by research is reflected in these unique images of great beauty that convey us -through imagination- to the laboratory and the human body.
Today’s research is tomorrow’s health and explaining this through art over these past ten years has helped society to understand the importance of its scope.
