The Observatorio is a space of photographic creation and a didactic laboratory specializing in auteur photography and visual narrative. A familiar environment that lends itself to experimention, learning and reflection on photography and the act of looking.
This year we present Habitat by Gerard Bosch:
Habitat explores the territory delineated by the Besos river through the tensions that shape a landscape that is at once quotidian and complex; in particular, the link between identity, territory and the act of habitation.
In addition to establishing a unique narrative, it also evokes a fragmented and incomplete image by tracing a route map that takes us from the incomprehension of a territory to an imaginary space, thereby generating a dialogue open to multiple interpretations.
