The Master’s Degree in Photography & Design at ELISAVA, Barcelona’s Higher College of Design & Engineering, is a post-graduate course that addresses photography as an open discipline in which students are encouraged to undertake long and highly complex projects in photography, while at the same time exploring the most contemporary approaches within artistic creation, with an emphasis on innovation, experimentation, and theoretical and practical research. Within this framework, we present the Master’s final projects by Alice Cannara and Hannah Woolf, which deal with the different ways of facing up to our own nature and sameness, exploring two different way of relating to our most mundane environment.
