JOURNEY TO THE LAND OF THE INUIT, AN ANTHROPOLOGICAL VIEW
Francesc Bailon Foto Autor Francesc Bailon Foto Cataleg

Through the eyes and words of Francesc Bailón Trueba, anthropologist and polar traveller, we take a look at the Inuit, a people whose name is better known than their cultural reality. We will go, then, in search of the poets of the Arctic, because in the past the Inuit settled their internal conflicts, except for murder, by improvising poems and songs.

This exhibition of photographs, drawings and texts put together by the author over the last twenty years will enable us to go among the Inuit people, among the last vestiges of humanity remaining on this planet. This is without a doubt a unique chance to find out where we come from and what we have become. In short, a different way to discover the origins of our own civilisation.
