Why, at this stage in the 21st century, stage an exhibition of traditional, "darkroom" black and white photography which is neither historical, nor documentary nor even on a single topic?

This is simply a photographic compilation of shots taken and processed between 1999 and 2003, when I was starting out in the world of artistic photography, around the time I joined the Igualada photography association. In this context, various colleagues taught me to experience and understand photography in a way very different from what I had known up to then.

This retrospective - and perhaps nostalgic - exhibition is, in a way, a vote of thanks to them; also, to the AFI, the body that has been kind enough to give me the chance to take part in this year's FineArt.
