This work does not set out to provide an objective view of livestock farming, nor does it place the farmer at the centre of the narrative. It is a partial take on reality, a metaphor on the life and death of sheep as the true protagonists. The sharp contrasts between light and darkness in the pictures represent two opposing worlds: life and death, man and nature.
The photographs portray livestock farming as a hermetic, unchanging world whose inhabitants roam subject to the transitory nature of life.
